Wild Rice Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup 
    Wild Rice
  • 1/4 cup 
    Raisins, seedless
  • 1 tbls 
    Canola Oil
  • 5 med 
    Onions
  • 1/2 cup 
    Celery
  • 1 cup 
    Cranberries
  • 1 tbls 
    Orange Peel
  • 1/2 tsp 
    Ground Thyme

Directions

1. Put the wild rice in a saucepan.

2. Add 1 cup water and raisins. Cook over medium heat for 1 hour, or until the rice is tender. Drain.

3. In a skillet, heat oil. Add the onions and celery. Saute until tender.

4. Add the cranberries, orange rind, thyme, and rice. Mix thoroughly and serve warm.
